Item Details
An original vintage oil painting on canvas board by 20th century Texan artist Eloise Hankins. The painting depicts a dim, formal still life. A loaf of bread, a dish of salt, and a single faintly glowing candle sit on a table in a dark room, the small flaming providing the scene’s only source of light. The painting is signed in black to the lower left. It is presented in a wooden frame with cast foliate surface embellishments, gold tone finish, and a sawtooth hanger. A small tag attached to the verso has the artist’s name and contact information.
