Antique and Vintage Wooden Clocks Including Cuckoo Clocks
Item Details
A collection of three antique and vintage wooden clocks including two cuckoo clocks. Featured is an antique wood veneer Seth Thomas Eight Day Spring Clock with original label intact, face dial, and unique “S” and “T” hands. The smaller cuckoo clock marked Germany features a top crest with a carved bird to center and leaves to either side, a small door for the bird to appear, a balcony with dancers, white Roman numerals to the dial, carved leaves to either side, and chains. The larger cuckoo clock, marked Cuckoo Clock Philadelphia, was sold by Esberger Brothers of Cincinnati with a date of December 1934. It features a center leaf with berries with additional leaves to the sides and bottom, a small door, Roman numerals to the dial, detached pine cone weights, and detached leaf pendulum.
Condition
-not tested as working; small cuckoo clock missing the weights, loss of veneer, cuckoo detached to the larger clock. Parts may be missing.
