D.E. Acrylic Painting on Canvas Board of Twilight Maritime Landscape

An acrylic painting on canvas board signed ‘D.E.’. The maritime landscape piece depicts a 19th-century clipper ship flying the American Flag against a brilliant twilight sky. The work is signed in white paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a decorative wooden frame with embossed floral details to the front and hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- small white flecked stains present to lower portion of painting; wear and scuffing to frame, especially along edges; backing board chipped at bottom right corner.
