An East Asian embroidery on silk of a wooded scene. This work depicts deer trotting over a rolling hill, with a winding willow tree featuring a protruding trunk to the background. Two herons perch on one of the branches while one swoops in to join them. This work is presented under glass in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
