An early 20th-century oil painting on canvas by artist A.C. Warne. The still life piece depicts an overturned vase full of white, pink and red carnations. It is set upon a marble floor alongside an assortment of pennies, with glazed blue-and-white pottery shown to the background. The work is signed in brown paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden and gesso frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- to Fair; wear to painted canvas; stretcher mark to canvas along top; cracks and chips to gesso decorations on frame; joints are separating at frame corners; no backing paper present; heavy toning and foxing throughout verso of canvas.
