Antique English Burlwood and Mahogany Chest of Drawers, c. 1880

Item Details

An antique English chest of drawers. This item is mainly constructed of mahogany, with each of its drawers having a burlwood veneer. Its top is rectangular with chamfered edges, while the body features two half-length drawers over three full-length drawers. Each drawer is hand-dovetailed and has a wooden knob pull and metal-lined key escutcheon. A key with tassel is included. It rests on bun feet. Construction dates piece to late 19th century.
