A semi-antique hand knotted Persian Malayer Sarouk rug. This hand knotted wool area rug features teal, orange,cream and pale salmon colored scalloped central medallion against a crimson red filed patterned with floral sprays.The rug has two vasiform pendants at either end and cream colored scalloped spandrels. The main border is white with orange, teal, red,yellow and brown geometric shapes. It is marked to the reverse ‘Made in Iran Hand Woven’ and features natural warp fringe.
