Item Details
A vintage offset lithograph on paper movie poster for The Comedians. This poster advertises the 1967 film starring Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Alec Guinness and Peter Ustinov. The title and film credits are printed at the bottom. The work is presented behind glass, beneath lavender matting, housed in a purple frame. A label from Burchard Galleries Auction is present to the lower right corner of the glass and numbered ‘270’. A label from ‘Frame Factory and Gallery’ is adhered to the verso.
Condition
- crack to the lower area of the glass; minor scratches throughout frame; minor foxing and folding marks throughout the poster.
