Item Details
A late 19th century ornate Hanau 800 silver basket by Georg Roth & Co. This Rococo work features a tall arching handle and a wide oval body of intricate pierced foliates with rocaille shells and winged putti surrounded oval cartouches. It is monogrammed on one side. This tapers and rises on a flaring openwork base. It is marked along the base ‘800’ and a series of worn marks including a crown over ‘GR’ in a heart. The approximate weight is 24.590 ozt.

- some minor surface wear with markings and minimal tarnishing.
