A collection of Charles Dickens novels published circa the 1940s by Walter J. Black, Inc. of New York. These eleven books are bound in beige cloth-covered boards with gilt and green spine text and a green and gilt ‘CD’ monogram on the front cover. Titles include A Tale of Two Cities, Adventures of Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol with other Christmas tales, and two copies of Martin Chuzzlewit.
