Vintage 1960s Schering Pharmaceutical Promotional Clay Figures
Item Details
An assortment of vintage Schering pharmaceutical promotional clay figures on wood bases. Each piece is a reproduction of an ancient Pre-Columbian clay sculpture depicting medical conditions of the time, both mental and physical. These vintage figures were pharmaceutical advertisements given to doctors by the Schering Company for the drug Etrafon used in the treatment of depression and anxiety. There are four different statues in the selection, and include reproductions of “Portrait of Depression/Anxiety’, circa 400-800 A.D., “Doctor and Patient’, circa 250 A.D., as well are two other funerary arts pieces.

- most in original boxes and wrapping; one piece has come off its base; water marks and dirt to boxes
