Four 19th Century Sterling Silver Footed Salt Cellars

Item Details

A set of four mid 19th-century individual footed sterling silver salt cellars with cobalt blue glass liners. The rim of the salts are beaded and the body is chased with a basketweave pattern along with a central horse head crest. The pieces rest on three hoofed feet and the bases have London hallmarks including duty mark, date and ‘AM’ appear on the bottom each one. Approximate total weight is 4.445ozt without blue glass liners.
