An abstract acrylic painting on canvas. Portrayed in an Abstract Expressionist style, this work features a jumble of slashes and quick gestural brushstrokes erratically applied across the canvas in black, white, gray, and gold-tone paint. No signature was found on the work. It is presented in a black wood frame with a gold-tone sight edge. Four pieces of hanging wire are present to the verso, allowing the composition to be oriented four different ways.
Condition
- canvas is loose in frame and needs securing; some wear in frame includes scratches, stains, and small chips scattered throughout.
