A 14K yellow gold Masonic Scottish Rite band. This ring features a black symbol of the Masonic Scottish Rite on the outer shank. On the interior of shank, an inscription written in Latin reads, ‘Virtus junxit mors non separabit’. When translated to English it reads ‘Whom virtue unites, death shall not separate’ this motto is used in the Lodge of Perfection, which is part of the Scottish Rite. Also inscribed inside the interior shank reads, ‘Edward Newton Millei, Jr. May 1-1942’.
