Hand-Knotted Persian Tabriz Area Rug

Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Tabriz area rug. The rug features no central medallion, but has a busy curvilinear design with palmettes, floral sprays and arabesque leaves in a palette of blue, yellow and red throughout a red field. The rug has a compound border. The main border has a Persian lotus flower design on a blue field. There is no fringe.
