Vintage Hand-Knotted Sarouk Wool Area Rug

A hand-knotted vintage Sarouk wool area rug. The rug has a large central medallion in a palette of blue, red and green. The rug features a series of floral sprays throughout the deep red field. The rug has a compound border with an earth toned ground color. The main border has a features a floral design on a navy field. It has overcast edges and the warp ends have been cut very short. Labeled with a production number to verso.
