An oil painting on canvas of a woman by artist B. Dizon. This paint depicts a squat, stylized woman at the center, who is adorned in Native diamond patterning across her dress in green, red and cream tones. She emerges from a Roman arch that is heavily textured to the walls, while a vibrant bird perches on one of her arms. To the lower left corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a stained and gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded spade and twisted motifs to the surface. To the verso is affixed hanging wire and a handwritten inscription appearing to read ‘Margie Marcelo’.
