Edward Etching of Horses and Riders

An etching on paper of horses with riders by an artist signing the work, appearing to read in part, ‘Edward.’ This sketchy, loosely-rendered print depicts three horses, muscular riders to the back of two. This print includes the numbers ‘19 09’ in plate to the top edge of the piece, and is signed loosely and numbered ‘26’ in pencil the lower margin. The piece is matted under glass in a gold tone frame with a wire for hanging.

Condition

- slight tears to paper on verso; very light warping to print paper; some debris captured under glass.

- measures the frame; visible image dimensions: 6" W. × 7″ H.
