An embellished lithograph on paper after Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema titled, A Reading from Homer (circa 1885). The original oil painting is currently housed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It depicts several people gathered around for a recitation of Homer. It is unsigned and presented behind glass in a gold tone wooden frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso.

- wear throughout frame’s finish; loose frame joints; wear to paper backing.
