Mid Century Modern Desk by Mauser Werke

Item Details

An important mid century metal desk with plywood top by Mauser Werke, ca. 1950s. This desk sits on four square chromed legs and frame with orange drawers. The top is veneered plywood and all four feet are adjustable for leveling the desk accordingly. There is an outlet in the bottom drawer with a power cord that extends from the back of the desk. Locking top drawer without the key. A Mauser label is present to the top left of the drawers. The desk is similar to those designed by Bauhaus designer Marcel Breuer (Hungarian/ American, 1902-1981) for Mauser Werke.
