A colored photograph on paper, titled Hollyhock Cottage, by listed artist Wallace Nutting (1861 – 1941). This photograph depicts the titular English cottage nestled in the countryside, surrounded by trees, brush and blooming flowers. The surface has been lightly tinted throughout. The photograph features an embossed border, as well as a handwritten title and artist signature to the margins. It is placed under glass in a polished wooden frame featuring a linked motif to the surface. To the verso is affixed hanging wire.

- moderate wear to frame; decorative finish coming off towards lower right corner; foxing throughout; severe staining to backing board.
