Asian Carved Wood Figures
Item Details
A collection of three Asian painted wood carvings. Included in this grouping of rust-colored figures, all with flat backs to allow for hanging, is depiction of a woman holding an infant in the crook of her arm and two that appear to be climbing, one up a stylized tree. These carvings are presented without maker’s marks or noticeable hanging hardware.
Condition
- heavy wear and peeling to painted surfaces; nails protruding from back of woman and child; trunk to tree is broken and wrapped with wire, and has protruding nail.
