A 1918 offset lithograph poster for World War I savings stamps designed by Horace Devitt Welsh (American, 1888 – 1942). It depicts a black hill topped with crosses with the text ‘They Give Their Lives, Do You Lend Your Savings?’ A yellow box to the lower right reads ‘W.S.S. War Savings Stamps Issued by the United States Government’ and below that in another box ‘Committee on Public Information of Pictorial Publicity’. It is signed in the plate to the lower right and was published by Sackett & Wilhelms Corp., New York. The unframed print is mounted on board and wrapped in clear plastic.

- to fair; discoloration throughout; wear and small tears to the edges.
