A Sonia Del Signore acrylic on canvas painting. This painting, ‘The Guardian of Peace,’ is matted in ivory fabric and is by Canadian Artist Sonia Del Signore (b.1965). It depicts a nude woman with long hair reclining on the ground while holding a white dove while a crescent moon shines in the background. She is painted in bright colors dominated by reds, greens and purples. It is signed on the lower left by the artist. The artist’s signature and handwritten title, as well as a wire for hanging, are on verso.
Condition
Consistent with age and display. No glass.
