Vintage Ceramic Apothecary Jars Including Jeanne Robinette of California

A set of two lidded ceramic apothecary jars. Included is a vintage Jeanne Robinette apothecary jar marked ‘Cassia Fistula’ (castor oil). It features a decorative red, blue, black and gold tone pattern and is marked ‘Jeanne Robinette of California, Hand Decorated Originals’ to the underside. Also featured is a similar jar marked ‘Palma Christi’, accented with lines in black and gold tone; it does not include a maker’s mark.
Condition
- crazing and surface wear to Jeanne Robinette canister, with heavy wear to gilt details on lid; light wear and markings to Palma Christi canister.
