Repurposed Antique Wash Stand by George Henshaw

Item Details

An antique wash stand by Cincinnati Furniture maker George Henshaw. This piece likely would date between 1844 and 1881, as after after the Civil war, demand for his pieces declined and the company manufactured only chairs into the 1940s. This wash stand has been repurposed by the addition of yellow and green paint over the natural finish. Then Original Henshaw tag is still partially present to the verso.
