Pine Toy Chest, Slate Chalkboard, and Small Step Stool

A pine toy chest, slate chalkboard, and child-size step stool. The chest / bench features a low arched backrest, a stay-open hinge, and shaped side rails. It is raised slightly on a solid base. A custom seat cushion is upholstered in a vivid checkered print. The vintage chalkboard is supported in a solid wooden frame with a chalk ledge. It hangs by sturdy brackets to the verso. A small step stool is also included.

Condition
- the chest features a stay-open hinge and an opening to the front edge, so it is not air-tight; no clasp closure. Marks to the chalkboard frame and wear to the finish of the step stool. Overall good vintage condition.

- measured of the toy chest / bench. The slate chalkboard measures approximately 45.5" W x 24" H. The step stool measures approximately 13.5" W x 13.25" H x 8" D.
