Alfred Meakin "Charlotte" and Francis Morley "Aurora" Pitchers

A group of Alfred Meakin Charlotte and Francis Morley Aurora pitchers. Both of these antique and vintage earthenware pitchers have transferware decoration. The Charlotte pitcher features a rust floral arrangement in a pedestal vase design across the body of this wide mouthed pitcher. The base of this piece is marked ‘Charlotte Alfred Meakin Staffordshire England Permanent Colours’. The Aurora pitcher features a purple floral and scroll design across the body of the pitcher. The base of this piece is marked ‘Aurora’.
Condition
- surface scratches and wear throughout; some chipping present; Alfred Meakin pitcher has cracks on the spout and shows signs of previous repair; stickers and sticker residue present.
