An artist’s proof etching on paper by Hoosier artist Mary Lou Hess. The piece depicts a weeping tree in summer, shown with hanging leaves nearly reaching the ground. The work is signed in graphite to the lower right and noted as ‘AP’ to the lower left. It is matted in teal and presented under glass in a decorative gold tone frame. The frame backing includes a card to the verso with information about the artist.
