A framed vintage Esquire pin-up calendar page from August, 1950. Al Moore, former Chicago Bears football player and commercial artist, was chosen by Esquire to replace Alberto Vargas as the creator of the magazine’s notable pin-up pages. Red-haired Miss August poses in an emerald green two-piece bathing suit and matching sandals. As she tosses playing cards into a top hat, she casts a glance over her right shoulder. The page is matted and framed in a walnut veneer frame equipped with a picture wire for hanging. Please see link for more information about Al Moore.
