An offset lithograph on paper of an original painting titled Embarkation for Cythera by French Rococo artist Jean-Antoine Watteau (1684 – 1721). This print depicts a large celebration party traveling through a wooded landscape of French aristocracy during the Régence. Mounted under off-white matting with a black dotted fillet the print is presented under glass in a black and gold tone wood frame with a wire present to the verso for hanging purposes. Watteau submitted the painting to the Royal Academy of Painting and now the painting resides at the Louvre in Paris.
