Salt Glazed Stoneware Jug and Wooden Tools
Item Details
A collection of vintage kitchenalia. The assortment features a salt glazed stoneware jug together with two wooden tools, one for forcing food through a conical shaped sieve and the other a masher. The jug was used before refrigeration as a vessel to keep liquids cool. It was lowered into wells by the handle often to keep milk from spoiling. These piece were always sealed with cork.
