A semi-antique hand knotted Persian Bakhtiari area rug. This rug displays garden-compartment style field featuring imagery of trees, branches, flowers and vines executed in a color scheme of indigo, light salmon, cream, maroon and orange. The extensive compound border exhibits alternating palmette and botanical patterns finished with dark brown selvedge and dyed blue natural warp fringe. Unmarked.
