A semi-antique hand knotted Persian Shiraz area rug. This rug features an elaborate central gul medallion in a color scheme of salmon, mustard, green, blue and brown upon a salmon hued field displaying animal forms and flower head imagery. The rug has gul designs within the connecting spandrels expanding to a floral patterned compound border. The rug is finished with salmon, tan and pink toned selvage and natural warp fringe. Unmarked.
