A hand knotted Indo-Caucasian Kazak carpet runner. This runner exhibits a row of six central medallions highlighted with crenelated fret key patterns. The rug is executed in a palette of brown, bluish gray, cream and mustard atop a reddish rust toned ground. The unresolved major border features alternating crenelated fret key designs finished with blue and reddish rust toned selvedge and natural warp fringe. Unmarked.
