French Provincial Style White Oak Bombe Chest by Hickory White

Item Details

A French Provincial style bombe chest in white oak by Hickory White. This chest features a straight back with serpentine sides and front edges to its top, as well and serpentine stiles and curved sides. Its face features three dovetailed drawers with raised panels; each has two brass tone bails pulls with floral mounts and a center brass tone faux escutcheon. Its apron is serpentine with a floral fan cartouche; it rises on short cabriole legs with scroll feet. The chest is marked ‘Hickory White’ to the inside of a drawer and ‘Bombe Chest W. Oak’ to the back.
