A hand-knotted Turkish Oushak area rug. The rug features angular geometric florals and vine work in a palette of cream and yellow on a bright orange field. The field is cover in all over florals and is enclosed by a compound border. The border features large scale floral motifs and large palmettes throughout in deep orange, yellow, and cream on top of a dusty green background with a thin, deep orange overcast edges. It has a short wool fringe to either end and is not marked.
