Vintage Nippon Hand-Painted Japanese Porcelain Vases

Item Details

A pair of Nippon Japanese porcelain vases. This selection includes an urn-shaped vase with scrolled handles and a pedestal base. It features a hand-painted mountain landscape to the front with green foliage and a lake in the foreground. There are also brown flowers and vines around the body, and brown bands around the stem. Moriage blue beading and red lines accents the scrolled handles. It is stamped to the underside with the Morimura importer mark along with ‘Hand Painted, Nippon’. The marks dates this piece to between 1910 and the early 1920s.

- light wear throughout including fading to paint.
