A vintage Louis XVI style buffet. This square top piece with beveled edge features a black lacquered finish with a scroll and floral design to the borders. The body features gold tone fleur-de-lis and S-scroll design to a top drawer over two cabinet doors with elaborate acanthus leaf and scroll design. The cabinet is flanked by fluted stiles with floral blocks to the top corners. The cabinet sits on a base with gold tone trim over a decorative apron flanked by floral blocks and rising on tapered feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
