Pair of Upholstered Library Armchairs

Item Details

A pair of upholstered library armchairs. This pair features a fruitwood finish to the frames. The arched backrest and square seat are upholstered in a cream colored fabric with scrolls and swirling foliate patterns, and pops of burgundy in the flowers. The upholstery is trimmed in brass-toned nail heads. The wooden arms undulate alongside the seat, forming supports at the front, then extending to become curved legs with scrolled feet. An ornate wooden X stretcher joins the legs. The chairs are unmarked.
