Antique Chandler Cast Iron School Desk and Chair

Item Details

An antique Chandler cast iron adjustable child school desk and chair. This late 19th century school desk and chair was manufactured by Boston Co. and this model was titled The Boston. Both the desk and chair are adjustable. The wooden desktop includes lip and raised edge to hold writing implements and keep them from rolling off the desk. Open pigeonhole under desk surface for books and papers. Markings include patent dates as well as Chandler and The Boston.
