A signed limited edition lithograph on paper of an abstract beach scene by listed French artist, Claude Venard (1913–1999). This print, titled ‘Cannes,’ features an angular composition and depicts a sun, palm tree and a nude woman. It is signed and numbered ‘19/80’ by hand in graphite to the lower margins next to the word ‘Rives,’ which may be referring to the type of paper used. This print is presented under glass in a gold tone frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso. Affixed to the verso is a hand inscribed gallery label from Distelheim Galleries.

Condition

- minor wear throughout frame’s finish; small area of water damage to bottom edge of print.
