Shiho Japanese Watercolor Painting on Silk "Rose and Bird"

Item Details

A watercolor painting on silk by Japanese artist Shihō (紫鳳). The piece, titled Rose and Bird, depicts a sparrow perched on the branches of a rose bush. The work is signed in black Japanese calligraphy and a red seal to the lower right, with the work title and artist’s name printed on a label to the frame’s backing paper. The painting is matted in pattered taupe fabric and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
