A semi-antique hand knotted Persian Mahal Sarouk area rug. This rug displays a central floral medallion highlighted by a mirrored floral patterned field. The rug is executed in shades of red, bright pink, burgundy, teal, black and blue. The major border features an alternating floral motif finished with black selvage and natural warp fringe. The rug has a tag attached which reads ‘Made in Iran, Hand Woven Carpet and Rugs’.
