A pair of Chinese mixed media collages on fabric. The first of these pieces depicts a pair of cranes at the edge of a body of water. Their bodies and the edge of the water are defined with limpet and gastropod shells and sea urchin spines. The work is signed and inscribed in calligraphy to the upper right edge of the composition. The second piece depicts small, brightly colored birds on a branch with blossoms anchored in the upper right edge of the composition, rendered with sea urchin and gastropod shells. It is signed and sealed to the upper left of the composition. Each print is presented under layered mats and glass, in a black tone metal frame with hanging wire affixed to the verso.

Condition

- slight edge wear to frame; tonal inconsistencies to textile ground; slightly dusty.
