A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Mahal Sarouk carpet runner. This runner displays an elaborate central medallion in a palette of teal, red, blue pink and tan atop a smoky bluish gray ground. The medallion flows into several palmette and flower head motifs which highlight the major and minor borders. The rug is finished with bluish gray selvedge and natural warp fringe. The rug has a tag attached which reads ‘Made in Iran, Hand Woven Carpet and Rugs’.
