Cay-Skot Oil Paintings on Burlap of Vessel Still Life
Item Details
A pair of oil paintings on burlap by popular mid-century Danish artist Cay-Skot (born 1927). In blue and red color variations, each depicts an arrangement of vessels in high chiaroscuro contrast against a black background. They are signed ‘Cay-S’ in a lower corner. The paintings are presented in gold tone painted wooden frame with gold tone canvas mats, that are wired for hanging.
Condition
- some wear to frames, 1" white scuff mark to canvas liner to right center of blue pots.
