A variety of vintage children’s books. The variety includes sixteen hardcover books. Some of the titles include The Golden Apple, which is a pop-up book, illustrated by V. Kubasta, and published in 1973 by ARTIA, Prague. Amishland was published by Hastings House, Publishers in 1954. Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat Beginner Book Dictionary by the Cat himself and P.D. Eastman was published in 1964 by Random House, Inc., New York. There are three truck books including The Big Book of Real Locomotives, The Big Book of Real Trucks, and The Big Book of Real Fire Engines, all illustrated by George J. Zaffo. A sixteenth printing copy of The Golden Book of 365 Stories is illustrated by Richard Scarry, and was published in 1955 by Western Publishing Company, Inc. A copy of Peter Rabbit as retold by Wallace C. Wadsworth is illustrated by Anne Sellers Leaf, and was published in 1953 by Rand McNally & Company, Chicago. Walt Disney’s Davy Crockett: King of the Wild Frontier, told by Elizabeth Beecher, was published in 1955 by Simon and Schuster, New York. The Sesame Street Story-Book was published by Random House and the Children’s Television Workshop in 1971.
