English & German Tea Pots

Item Details

A collection of English and German teapots includes three teapots and one cup and saucer set. Featured is a Liverpool Teapot by Lenox which is a reproduction of an 18th century English teapot from the collection of the Smithsonian Institute. The original packing box accompanies the teapot. The largest teapot is West German made by Bareuther and decorated to the side with a vivid posy of various flowers, stamped to the bottom ‘242’. The last teapot is another English made piece stamped to the bottom ’ Arthur Wood & Son, Staffordshire England, Est 1884’ and numbered 6471. It is decorated to the side with an abundance of purple pansies and other flowers. A coordinating cup and saucer set is ‘Duchess’ fine bone china made in England.
