A signed serigraph titled Phoenix Bird Legend I by Shraga Weil, listed Israeli painter (1918 – 2009). This richly colored artwork depicts what appears to be a ‘Tree Of Life’ in various stages of recovery with the image of a dove behind in a blue field at the top overlaying a fiery red, orange and yellow background and a small white bird imprint near the lower margin. Signed in pencil to the lower right and a simple ‘X’ marked to the lower left. It is housed under acrylic with multiple tan and white mats in a wooden frame. Verso has attached cord for hanging and retains the paper tag from the Safrai Fine Art Gallery, Jerusalem.
